As part of the International English Literature Project, organized by the Department of English Philology at the State Pedagogical University of Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, an international online seminar on “English Renaissance Literature” took place on March 26. From the Faculty of Foreign Languages, first-year students Abdel Alomerović, Irina Bulatović, Nina Radulović, and Teodora Simić participated in the event. The representatives from the State Pedagogical University of Kryvyi Rih included Irina Drukar, Tetjana Pahlan, and Jevgen Lemiš.

The seminar featured student presentations on various aspects of English Renaissance literature, including the development and influence of theater, as well as the significance of the works of Christopher Marlowe, William Shakespeare, and Ben Jonson. The event was an example of blended learning and the use of online platforms, enabling professors and students from both universities to actively participate and discuss the presented topics. During the seminar, students also tested their knowledge of Shakespeare’s life and works using the Kahoot digital tool, adding an interactive element to the event.
