General info about enrollment

The enrollment of students for the first year of studies is done based on a public contest published by the University regarding all study programs. The contest is published in the daily newspaper and also on the Web site of the University.

The applicant is obliged to submit a filled application form along with the following documents:

  • Original documents confirming that he/she has finished all courses of secondary education
  • Original diploma confirming that he/she passed the finals exam
  • Birth certificate and “Luča” diploma or an another equivalent diploma

All those who have finished their secondary education have a right to apply for the contest.

After the ranking process is finished, student enrollment is done on a competitive basis, in accordance with the results they displayed during their secondary education and on their finals exam.

For admission to a certain study program the applicants must take an entrance exam, which serves as an additional requirement for enrollment and is governed by this Rule book.

Those who do not have a secondary education must take a differential exam, which is also governed by this Rule book.

Foreign applicants have the same right to enroll as do the citizens of the Republic of Montenegro.

A foreign applicant or a person who filled for foreign-degree validation i.e. equivalency, can be enrolled conditionally in the case that the validation process or equivalency is not completed before the closing date for application.

In case that the foreign-degree validation i.e. equivalency is denied or that the foreign documents don’t govern you the right to enroll at the selected study program at the University, it will be taken as if the conditional enrollment never happened.

A foreign student has the status of a student that pays tuition fees.
