It was an honour having the opportunity today to promote a publication of national importance and of public interest for the culture of Montenegro, the theatre anthology "Theatre in Montenegro" by Slavojka Marojević, a long-time editor for the publishing department of Nikšić Theatre, in the premises of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University "Mediterranean" Podgorica.

Dr Marija Sarap, playwright, screenwriter and journalist, general director of the Directorate for the Development of Creative Industries in the Ministry of Culture and Media, as well as Dr Vesna Tripković Samardžić, assistant professor at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the "Mediterranean" University, shared their impressions of the book with us.

The monograph represents an in-depth analysis and research of the centuries-old development of theatre in our country, from ancient to modern times. At the promotion, a few words were also said about the introduction of the monograph as mandatory or supplementary textbook literature in the History of Theatre and History of Art syllabi, as well as the syllabi of English studies, such as courses on Shakespeare and Contemporary American Drama.

Many thanks to our students who, posing the right questions and making adequate comments, contributed to the successful marking of this important moment in the cultural heritage of our country..
